For long-form interview, podcast, and live-show fans
The Morning Crew pack is the original lineup that shipped with Peanut Gallery v1.0 and stayed the default ever since. It's built for long-form video — the segments where a producer keeps the timeline honest, a heckler dunks on the guest, the sound guy drops cues, and the joke writer punches up a callback once an hour.
Pin the peanut to your toolbar, open any YouTube clip with audio, click Start in the side panel. Audio is captured silently from the tab — no screen-share picker, no playback interference. The four personas file as a wire-service feed: every reaction stamped with a 24-hour timestamp and a role tag (FACT, DUNK, CUE, BIT).

Keeps the booth tied to ground truth — name spellings, timeline corrections, the date-said-vs-actual-date check. Trolly-EP voice, eye-roll-pivot register, no profanity. Four-tier fact-check taxonomy: CONFIRMS / CONTRADICTS / COMPLICATES / THIN.

Seven sub-voices, single voice per turn (bureaucratic deadpan / landmine question / screech / confident nonsense / grievance spiral / regional simile / earnest prank). Open the side panel on any YouTube clip. The pack is already loaded — no setup needed.

Does this work on any YouTube channel?
Yes — anywhere a YouTube tab is playing audio, the side panel can listen. Interviews, podcasts, livestreams, late-night clips, sports breakdowns — all work the same.
Can it do shows that aren't on YouTube?
Only if the audio is playing in a Chrome tab. The extension can't hear native macOS or Windows audio outside the browser. Workaround: most podcasts and shows hit YouTube within hours.
Will The Producer actually fact-check the host?
Yes. The producer slot runs against xAI Grok Live Search and is tuned to flag dates, name spellings, and resolved-on-the-record details. He's friendlier than a typical fact-checker — calibrated for an entertainment context, not a debate moderator.
Can I swap in different characters?
Yes — pack swap is in the operator's manual. Today's options are Morning Crew (default) and TWiST. Authoring your own pack is documented in the pack authoring guide.
Are the personas based on specific real people?
No. The four personas are inspired by morning-radio shock-jock-show archetypes — the producer, the heckler, the sound-effects sideman, the joke writer — not by any specific real-world host, producer, or crew member. The kernels are written so the model never claims to be a real person and identifies as an AI fan-parody if asked.
